across wind-blown fields
with green river grasses
bent over pools and eddies
hidden in broad daylight
yellow-eyed sunflowers
look from the far hills
and turn their faces
skyward

A bit more short-form. Inspired by necessity and a field of sunflowers near where I live. Not a usual sight in the Scottish countryside, I grant, but these are interesting times, huh?
