change begins with change
in these pale shoots now growing
from hesitant earth

What to do with a haiku? A year ago, I experimented with the form. Today, I revisited the file I had containing four examples. The first two - about change - seemed to work together. I'd written them after a prompt to write on that very subject so, I suppose they should.
Long story short… I've uploaded them now as individual pieces. They are 'pale shoots now growing' and 'change' and their Scots equivalents, 'spirls' and 'chynge'.
I counted the 5-7-5 once again to be sure I got it. You can't be too careful.
